Just look at that quality, I don't think I own a pair of shoes made this well. Superior in every way to the average colonial shoes you see at most events. If you buy a pair and don't like them just send them back, all you'll be out is the shipping but I'm telling you. I don't think I'll be getting many pair of these back.

Putting spurs on your boots is really very simple. As you can see in the photo the spur strap simply feeds through the slots that are in each side of the spur. Then adjust the strap to the proper length needed and slip onto your boot with the strap going under your heel. That's pretty simple.
We have 3 types of spurs, The Eagle Head Spurs for officers, the Richmond Style Spur which has a flat body (as seen in the photo above right) and the typical Union style spur which had a more common rounded body.

LADIES TRAVELING BOOT
If you've seen the movie "Cold Mountain" then you may have seen Nicole Kidman wearing a pair of Blockade Runner Ladies Boots. They are especially noticeable in the scene where she is getting undressed. According to one source they went missing off the set at the end of the shoot. Rumor has it that Ms. Kidman took them home with her! But then, who could blame her?
A Brand new pair of ladies traveling boots. This may be the best ladies boot we have ever made. Made from an original pair in our collection this boot really stands out. There has been so little to choose from when it comes to ladies foot wear, we thought this hobby really needed an outstanding ladies boot. We could not be happier with this one. It's 7 1/2 inches tall, made of top grade leather and the very best in craftsmanship. Brass eyelets, double row wooden pegged leather sole. Square nails fasten the heel, all just like the original.
