1860 HENRY RIFLE

Faithful to the original, this Henry with its barrel and magazine drawn from one-piece steel, required a good deal of skill to reproduce. Chambered for a cartridge available today, the Henry was the first true repeating rifle to be both practical and reliable. Developed from the Volcanic carbines by Tyler Henry, inventor of the cartridge, in 1860, this replica would be the pride of its innovator and namesake. The original production of the Henry Rifle was manufactured with the Steel frame and butt plate. Originally there were around 400 rifles produced. The first pieces had no lever latch.

1865 MODEL SPENCER CARBINE

Armi Sport is proud to recapture the technology of the firearm originally produced by Christopher Miner Spencer noted as one of the leading men in the machine tool industry. Spencer initially produced the 1860 Spencer Carbine which was noted to be accurate and fire rapidly, have a long, effective range and hold seven metallic cartridges which weren't affected by dampness and it didn't need caps to fire! The Spencer models boasted they were very different from any other firearm. The seven shots could be loaded and capped in less time than any other rifle. This new designed rifle could be fired more rapidly than a revolver and reloaded in a tenth of the time it would take to reload Colt style revolver. In 1865, Spencer delivered the Model 1865 Spencer Carbine which was modified to correct the inherent flaws in the original design. This model 1865 Spencer Carbine has been recreated by Armi Sport and Taylor's Company, Inc. and offered to you with the features as noted below.

Cal. .56/50, Length of barrel 20 inches, No. of grooves 6, Overall Length 37 inches, Stock American walnut, Metal parts Case hardened with Swivels.

SPENCER CARTRIDGE BOX

This box was originally designed and patented by Colonel Blakeslee. This was a six tube cartridge carrier with a wood block, bored with longitudinal holes to hold six tin tubes which are included. Each tube held the correct number to reload the butt stock magazine. The wood block was encased in smooth black leather, with a hinged leather lid to protect the open tops of the tubes. A leather strap held the loaded box under the trooper's left arm, close to his body.
This reproduction is a nice copy of the original design, made in USA.

1873 WINCHESTER CARBINE

Derived directly from the 1866, the '73 increased Winchester's fortune making it the most important American Company in repeating arms. Adding the already famous Model 1866, the new guns captured the publics fantasy. The 1873 offered the new .44-40 central fire cartridge, longer and more powerful. For this reason it was necessary to use steel instead of brass in the production of the frame. The combination of wood and metal, the fine mechanism, the finishing and final assembly and, more than anything, the beauty of this rifle are the main features that explain the success of the Model 1873. Produced in this version, carbine or rifle, this model was produced right up to 1924.

1874 SHARPS SPORTING RIFLE

1874 Sporting Rifle. We offer this rifle in various barrel lengths and calibers listed below. This rifle was the most famous rifle manufactured as a cartridge gun, often called the Old Reliable Buffalo Rifle. This rifle is best known of the various guns used in the hunting of buffalo for their hides. During this period many famous names became associated with Sharps rifles, men such as Billy Dixon, Buffalo Bill Cody, Bat Masterson, and others used the big single shot to maximum effect upon the seemingly endless herds of buffalo. With the Sharps sliding breech block and many angles and corners, producing the Sharps at a reasonable price was a challenge for modern manufacturers. The challenge was met, however, and now the modern marksman can enjoy the pleasure of shooting this colorful rifle. This rifle is a high quality Sharps and may be used for hunting and target shooting.

Worn at all times and for all occasions to defend life and property at a moments notice, the 1873 Single Action, more than any other gun, says Old West.
