MILITARIA / ODDS & ENDS

BE PREPARED, YOU MAY FIND ANYTHING LISTED HERE.

Yep, this is a page for all that stuff I thought I had to have - that sat in a corner an collected dust. Now I have new stuff to set in that corner and I need the space so the old stuff must go. Maybe you can find something here that you "just have to have".

.308 FNFAL MAG.

One day while I was not in the shop someone walked in and bought my FNFAL off the rack but the girls did not give him the extra mag. and pouch. So I'm going to let you have it for a song. Just one magazine but I'll throw in the 2 mag. pouch. I repeat, "just one magazine". I'll be glad to see it go to a good home. Any house with a .308 FNFAL is a good home.

SPANISH BAYONET W SCABBARD

Here's a great deal on a good solid camping blade. Good for just about any job that your pocket knife is too small for. Makes a great digging tool for relic hunting too. Super cheap and tough, that's a great combo!

1935 GALBRAITH WATER LIGHT

I acquired this 1935 Galbraith self igniting water light several years ago when I bought the estate of an old Lt.Col. He flew bombers in WWII, fighters in Korea and bombers in Vietnam. He had a pretty nice collection but I think this is the oddest piece. These were used on ships and planes. The ones used for ships were brass This ones tin. It's still "live", never been used, no dents or dings. There are a few scratches on the paint but that's about it. There's not much info on these things but I'm guessing it uses carbide for it's fuel. It measures 12 inches tall and over 5 inches wide. If your flying a B-17 or B-25 without one of these - well I just don't know what to think of you. You had better buy this one before your run out of the neighborhood.

VIETNAM ERA SHIRT

Brand new never issued. I don't care enough to look up the actual manufacturer's date of production on these but they will work just fine from the late 50's (the time of the King, all hail Elvis!) up through Vietnam era. They are will fit a guy or gal with a 33/34 inch chest/bust. Why the hell do they call it a bust?! I aint never seen one bust.

SIMULATOR LAND MINE WWII

General Patton's boys left us this little present when they passed through Middle Tennessee on Manuevers in 43. This is the best one I've ever seen. Most are rusted all to hell but this one is very sound. It is Inert, safe as can be. It measures 8 inches across and is 4.5 inches tall to the top of the trip ring. If you want to do a little trading I'm always looking for Garands, shooters not showcase. Don't care what era they are from and yes I know you'll want some boot. Anyhoo these are super hard to find and look great in a display.

VIETNAM ERA STYLE OVERCOAT

I do not know the date of manufacture on this one but it is Vietnam era style. It is like new and may be unissued. These things are getting harder and harder to find. This is coat and liner with nothing missing "like new".

VIETNAM ERA PITH HELMET

I do not know the date of manufacture on this one but I believe it is Vietnam era, one fellow dates this lot number to 1966. I beleive these were also issued to RVN. (never fired and only dropped once) Damn few of these around. There are no tears or cut but the helmet has a distinct aged color. Chin strap is in great shape. Probably never been moved from it's visor position. Nothing missing or broken and it will display well. The black marks on the photo are not on the helmet.
